Here is are five items to consider when shopping for the PC Gamer(s) in your family:

Gaming Chair – You spend a lot of time in your chair.  Why not invest in some comfort (and the hip aggressive gaming look that the kids crave these days!).  Here is an affordable option that will do the trick.

Ultrawide Monitor – You want to be immersed in the game?  Try an ultrawide monitor!  This 35″ curved 2k Asus Predator is the grand-daddy of them all.

Gaming Headset – I bet the current headset is worn, maybe has some broken pieces, or just isn’t sounding great in general.  Here is an excellent budget choice from one of the most popular headset makers.

Mouse & Keyboard – If you aren’t using a mechanical keyboard yet, you are way behind the times.  Your keyboard and mouse are heavily used peripherals, so you should invest in some that can take the beating!  This is my heavily biased suggestion because I am a Logitech fanboy (and every Razer product I’ve ever had failed within a year).

Solid State Hard Drive – You have to have space for more games obviously!  SSD prices have dropped tremendously this year.  Now is a great time to purchase one so that you don’t need to keep deleting and re-installing games from Steam.  Games aren’t getting any smaller you know!
